STAGEit Creator is our tool for building immersive presentations for Apple Vision Pro, and we’re about to change how it’s licensed.
The STAGEit Creator Founders Licence is coming to an end, with Creator moving back to a subscription model. Until that happens, the Founders Licence remains available for anyone who wants unlimited access to Creator without an ongoing subscription.
We don’t have an exact end date. The change will happen as soon as Apple approves the next versions of STAGEit, which are currently waiting for review.
What’s next for STAGEit Creator?
We’re increasingly focusing STAGEit around immersive presentations, and that gives us a much clearer direction for Creator.
Creator isn’t going away or slowing down. There’s a significant update already in development, and future updates will increasingly focus on giving people more ways to build rich, interactive presentations.
That includes support for new visionOS 27 features, projection onto real-world surfaces, fabric and cloth, and more powerful ways to build animations directly inside STAGEit.
We’re also working towards much better communication between devices, making it easier to move models and assets from your Mac or iPad into STAGEit and, further ahead, for teams to work together on presentations.
So development isn’t stopping. Quite the opposite. We’re just much clearer about what we want STAGEit Creator to become.
One important clarification: the Founders Licence applies to STAGEit Creator only. It does not include STAGEit Presenter or STAGEit Host.
